Ritesh Kumar Gupta is a skilled Lead Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience in FinTech. He has a passion for exploring new domains and learning new technologies. Ritesh is well-versed in the best practices required to deliver enterprise-scale applications with high quality and on time. His technical background is in designing and developing backend services in Node.js/C++. Ritesh has also taken part in technical interviewing and recruitment, where he took charge of all Engineering recruitment from NIT. In the past, Ritesh has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at FactSet, where he worked on the migration of multiple legacy manual workflows to a new tech stack powered by a cloud-based microservice architecture connected by message queues. He has also designed, implemented, and maintained solutions for using Docker, Jenkins, Git, and Puppet for microservices and continuous deployment. Additionally, Ritesh has owned the alerting platform of the company and designed, developed, and deployed the alerting service for one of the applications. He has also designed a triple-layered reporting architecture and was involved in the end-to-end development of a generic reporting tool. Ritesh holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal.
